UFC on FOX 28 Results: Jeremy Stephens Stops Josh Emmett With Borderline Foul

Jeremy Stephens, wielding all his usual power and half his usual aim, felled upstart Josh Emmett in the main event of UFC on FOX 28.

Things were going well for Emmett in the first round, with his constant movement preventing Stephens from setting himself to throw those bolos. And Emmett’s timing with his strikes was on point, as evidenced by the killer right hand that sent Stephens to the canvas. But “Lil’ Heathen” returned the favor in the second round, and he followed up with a knee while Emmett was down. The end came when Emmett made it back to his feet and Stephens greeted him with a gigantic fist.

Here’s some nice stats for you.

Was the knee illegal? Here are some fighters debating it, because what else are they going to do to fill air time?
