Till Returns To Liverpool, Where He Was Stabbed Twice And Left For Dead

Maybe it was this guy?

Who says you can’t go home again?

Local hero and undefeated welterweight up-and-comer Darren Till returns to Liverpool, England for the upcoming UFC Fight Night 130 headliner, held inside Echo Arena on Sun., May 27, 2018, on FOX Sports 1.

Fortunately, Till will have to fight just one man as opposed to 20, something that happened to the not-dumb cunt when he was a “fucking crazy” lad and looking to get his fight fix in the seedy night clubs of Liverpool.

“I was a troubled kid, hanging out with the wrong people, getting into trouble in Liverpool,” Till said. “Got into trouble in a nightclub, this guy comes up and just stabs me twice. I was in the hospital for like a week or two.”

Once he was released, his coach sent him to Brazil to train (sans distractions).

After racking up four wins in five appearances inside the Octagon (with one draw), Till (16-0-1) — who made headlines last fall for wrangling “Cowboy” Cerrone — earned his toughest test to date in the form of Thompson.

“Wonderboy” (14-2-1) was able to punch his way back into the win column with a unanimous decision win over Jorge Masvidal at UFC 217, following a pair of unsuccessful title attempts against reigning division champion Tyron Woodley.

We’re roughly 72 hours from fight night and at this point, we should forget about the weight cut and worry more about Till dying in a knife fight against a killing, fornicating Alpha Male like this guy.

You Know It’s a Good UFC When Two People Are Stabbed

Chael Sonnen not afraid of getting shot, stabbed or lynched while filming TUF Brazil 3

It’s all fun and games until someone gets a cap in their ass.

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) light heavyweight attraction Chael Sonnen has made his share of enemies over the years, most of them Brazilian. That’s because the former middleweight number contender has gone to war with Anderson Silva on two separate occasions.

And Wanderlei Silva — along with the Nogueira brothers — have been collateral damage.

That means “The American Gangster” can expect his share of boos when he assumes the role of head coach for The Ultimate Fighter (TUF): “Brazil 3″ opposite “The Axe Murderer” (details), which begins filming just after the new year.

And perhaps a bit more than that (via Fighters Only):

“I think it is possible. I was more concerned with the possibility of lynching, maybe knife attack. But yeah I think [getting shot] is possible. But because I am a gangster, I don’t live with fear. I do whatever I want, wherever I want… I would like to go to the beach. [Dana White] suggested very sophisticated [security] measures, more than I could have suggested.”

Sonnen is no stranger to “attacks” in Brazil.

During a UFC 148 media press tour in Rio de Janeiro, the self-proclaimed “bad guy” was zapped with a shock pen after escaping a scrum populated by “aggressive” reporters, in what was later described as a prank. Turns out, no one was fooled by his disguise (pic).

But before he can worry about Brazilian thugs, Sonnen must first get past Rashad Evans in the co-main event of the UFC 167 pay-per-view (PPV), which takes place a week from Saturday night (Nov. 16, 2013) at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Anyone want to take a stab at picking the winner?
