Johnny Case set to make his return against Tony Martin at UFC Fight Night 112 in OKC

The UFC Fight Night 112 card in Oklahoma City is still being added to.

On Monday, the UFC announced that 27-year old lightweight Johnny Case will make his return to the Octagon against Tony Martin. It will mark the first time Case has fought since his Fight of the Night loss against Jake Matthews at UFC Fight Night 85 some 15 months ago in Brisbane, Australia.

Before then, Case had (22-5) had burst onto the scene with the UFC, winning his first four fights with the promotion. He debuted in 2014 against Kazuki Tokudome in Japan (winning via second-round submission), and notched subsequent victories over Frankie Perez, Francisco Trevino and Yan Cabral.

He was supposed to fight James Vick in February, but was forced to withdraw from the bout due to an injury.

The 27-year old Martin has won back-to-back fights Felipe Olivieri and Alex White, the latter a unanimous decision in January. Martin also holds a victory over Fabricio Camoes. The Boston-based fighter is a seasoned jiu-jitsu practitioner, who has eight submission victories on his resume.

Martin 3-3 in the UFC, and 11-3 overall.

UFC Fight Night 112 takes place on June 25 at the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City. It will feature a main event between lightweight contender Michael Chiesa and Kevin Lee, as well as a middleweight title between Johny Hendricks and Tim Boetsch.
