Got $5 Million? You Could Buy Anderson Silva’s Los Angeles Home

Are you in the market for a new home? Got several million dollars you can put towards said property? If so, you could potentially take ownership of UFC legend Anderson Silva’s Los Angeles home. Nestled in the bosum of Palos Verdes, the sprawling estate is being listed for sale at $ 4.9 million.

For an extensive gallery of the property, click here. The Los Angeles Times has the rundown on some of the more extravagant features:

The multilevel house, completely reimagined three years ago, packs a well-rounded punch with vibrant marble and wood surfaces, two kitchens, an open-air gym and a sauna room. High ceilings, walls of windows and skylights give the polished interior a sense of spaciousness.

The 7,100 square feet of living space also includes six bedrooms and eight bathrooms. There are living rooms with motorized glass doors on each level.

According to public records, Silva bought the house for $ 1.76 million back in 2011. While we imagine it’s nothing compared to the mega-compound Dana White is bulldozing into existence in Vegas, it’s pretty fancy and gives you a taste of what the high life looks like when you reach the top of the sport.

Latifi Vs. Anderson Slated For UFC 232

Streaking UFC light heavyweight contender Ilir Latifi will try to continue his winning ways when he takes on wrestler Corey Anderson at UFC 232 on Dec. 29 live on pay-per-view (PPV) from inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, per a recent announcement on FOX Sports 1’s UFC Tonight (Kimura.se originally reported the bout).

Latifi, 35, is coming off a sensational first-round submission victory over former UFC title challenger Ovince Saint Preux back in February. “Sledgehammer” has now won two straight since getting flattened by Ryan Bader two years ago. He may not be the most active contender at 205 pounds, but a divisional record of 7-3 has Latifi on the doorstep of title contention. A win over Anderson this December should put him one step closer.

Anderson, 28, is fresh off a unanimous decision win over former UFC title challenger Glover Teixeira back in July. While “Beastin’ 25/8” hasn’t shown the best consistency within the division’s top 10, his wrestling abilities are good enough to control almost every fighter in the division. It should be interesting to see how he handles the the overall power of Latifi in close quarters.

UFC 232 will be headlined by a women’s superfight between UFC featherweight champion Cris Cyborg and UFC bantamweight queen Amanda Nunes.

Anderson Silva Cuts Deal With USADA For UFC Return

Is normal.

Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) middleweight champion, Anderson Silva, will be eligible to make his return to mixed martial arts (MMA) this November after reaching a deal with United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA).

“The Spider” was popped for performance-enhancing drugs ahead of his Kelvin Gastelum fight at UFC Shanghai last fall, the second time the Brazilian pissed dirty in his UFC career. Silva, however, maintained his innocence and eventually proved his positive result stemmed from tainted supplements, hence the reduced sentence.

“I am vindicated,” Silva said in a prepared statement (via Ariel Helwani). “The past nine months have been extremely difficult. I felt like my career and everything I had worked so hard for was dying and my future was hanging in the balance.”

“I knew in my heart that I had done nothing wrong and fully cooperated with USADA during their inquiry to prove it,” Silva continued. “Today I have a renewed energy. My legacy is restored. I can focus on getting back into the ring and the next chapter of my life after fighting.”

Silva (34-8) has not competed since capturing a questionable decision win over Derek Brunson at the UFC 208 pay-per-view (PPV) event in early 2017. Now 43, “The Spider” will have his work cut out for him if he hopes to hang with the next generation of middleweight strikers.

Like this guy.

Midnight Mania! Watch Anderson Silva Lay Out Three Men

Bringing you the weird and wild from the world of MMA each and every weeknight

Welcome to Midnight Mania!

Former middleweight champion Anderson “The Spider” Silva was the closest thing the UFC had to an action hero for many years. No one could quite do what he did in real fights in the Octagon. Now he’s executing some of those moves against rather more cooperative opponents, on set.

This isn’t an uncommon route for current and former mixed martial artists. Josh Thomson spends time making Chinese movies; Ronda Rousey is doing live stunts in the WWE as well as small acting roles; Donald Cerrone makes money as a stunt man and actor; Cung Le, the only middleweight to have a showier skillset than Anderson, has been doing his own stunts in B-rated movies and TV for years. Andrei Arlovski is pretty good at fake fighting. Gina Carano is a good enough actor to carry whole movies alongside A-list stars like Channing Tatum. Randy Couture was in Expendables alongside Sylvester Stallone and Jason Statham.

Eeees normal.

Anderson, whose later career has been marred by repeat drug test failures, has no shortage of ideas for his career after fighting, including a commentary gig on Netflix show Ultimate Beastmaster.
